Craigs list is a place online where anybody can post a classified ad for just about anything. It is free to post an ad unless it is a job posting and that is $25.
One issue that comes up with Craigs list is the fact that it taking away business from newspapers. It appeals to a larger population of people because it is so easy to use and free. It also easy to navigate around becasuse a person does not have to flip from page to page in a newspaper trying to read the tiny fonts. Also, it is easier on the seller because they do not have a word limit and they can include pictures!
I can see where thr traditional papers would be threateded by Craigs List but I think that it is a great addition to the internet and nice convenience for the people who like to look through the classified ads.
